Upcoming Event: Barns & Yard Open Day – Sunday 11 October 2026
There’s something rather special about Barns & Yard in autumn. The changing colours, softer light and surrounding Worcestershire countryside make it a wonderful time to visit — and next Sunday, we’re opening our big barn doors and inviting you to come and experience it for yourself.
Join us for our Open Day on Sunday 11 October, from 11am–3pm, for a relaxed afternoon of exploring, meeting and imagining what your own celebration here could look like.
Come and have a wander
Our barns have been lovingly restored to create a wedding venue that brings together their original character and rustic charm with a sense of understated, timeless elegance.
On the day, you’ll be free to explore the venue at your own pace. Wander through the beautiful Threshing Barn, characterful Cartshed, elegant Gallery and intimate Cider Barn, and see how each of our spaces can become part of your wedding day.
Step outside and there’s plenty more to discover. Take a stroll through the landscaped grounds, wander down towards our private lake and pause to take in the views of the Malvern Hills.
It’s a chance to see Barns & Yard not simply as a venue, but to start picturing the people you love gathered here and how your own day might unfold.
Meet the people who bring it all to life
Of course, a wedding is about far more than the setting.
Our venue and planning team will be here throughout the day to say hello, answer your questions and talk through everything from how the spaces flow to the practicalities of planning your celebration at Barns & Yard.
We’ll also be joined by many of the brilliant, trusted suppliers we’re lucky enough to work alongside.
From flowers, food and photography to cakes, entertainment, stationery, styling and those thoughtful finishing touches, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the people behind some wonderful local wedding businesses, see their work and chat through ideas for your own day.
There’s no need to arrive with everything figured out. Come with questions, ideas, a Pinterest board — or simply an open mind.

Our Open Day is just as much for our existing Barns & Yard couples as it is for those discovering us for the first time.
Come back for another wander, see the venue dressed and full of ideas, introduce family members who haven’t visited yet, or spend some time chatting to potential suppliers. Sometimes seeing the spaces again once your plans have started taking shape can spark an entirely new idea.
Come and see how it feels
Choosing a wedding venue is about so much more than photographs or a list of features. Sometimes, you simply need to stand in the space and see how it feels.
